PRESCOTT – Listed below are upcoming events for all seniors aged 55 years and older at the Senior Gathering Place, located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott. Use Door 5 at Prescott Middle School. The Gathering Place is open from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If Prescott schools are closed because of inclement weather, then the Gathering Place is also closed.
Wednesday, Jan. 15: The program and publicity committees will meet at 10:15 a.m. in room G5. From 12:30-3:30 p.m. cards will be played with your choice of Euchre or Bridge.
Thursday, Jan. 16: Pickleball players will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) At 1 p.m., the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" will be shown. This movie commemorates the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Friday, Jan. 17: Gathering Place is closed. Memory Café will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank conference room (lower level).
Tuesday, Jan. 21: Pickleball players will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) Left, Right, Center dice game will be played at 12:30 p.m. in Room G5; remember to bring dimes.
Wednesday, Jan. 22: Card games will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Join your friends for Euchre, Bridge or card game of your choice.
Thursday, Jan. 23: Pickleball players will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) At 12:30 p.m. join your friends for a game of Canasta.
Remember all seniors are welcome and we look forward to new members.
