April 4 5:05 p.m.

A vehicle was reported to have been struck in a parking lot on Cascade Ave. in River Falls. There was no damage to other vehicles in the lot. It was unknown who did it or how it happened.

Sheriff’s reports April 4 12:02 a.m.

Deputies were requested to check the airport for a plane that had not been heard from in a half hour from the FAA. The plane was located and had landed safely.

3:09 a.m.

A disabled semi was reported near the intersection of Hwy. 128 and 770th Ave. in Spring Valley. The semi was removed by operator.

5:23 a.m.

A vehicle was reported to have gone in the ditch near the intersection of Cty. Tk. CC and 790th Ave. in Spring Valley.

7:49 a.m.

Extra patrol was requested near the intersection of Cty. Tk. C and 165th Ave. in Bay City.

10:38 a.m.

Two drivers were stopped and cited for speed on Hwy. 29 near 620th St. in River Falls.

12:05 p.m.

A complainant reported a scam call received from the “cable company”. The caller reportedly wrote a check to them and when asked for a second check, she verified with the actual company and discovered it was a scam. See report.

12:40 p.m.

A large rock was moved from the roadway near the intersection of Cty. Tk. A and 330th Ave. in Maiden Rock.

4:11 p.m.

Officers responded to 200th St. in Spring Valley after a dog reportedly killed one of the complainant’s chickens. The owner of the dog was cited for dog at large and paid the complainant for damages.

5:05 p.m.

A report of a hit-and-run accident was received from 940th St. in River Falls. There was no suspect. A crash report was completed.

5:05 p.m.

A steel bar was removed from the roadway on 785th St. in Hager City.

7:29 p.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of 570th St. and Hwy. 35 in Bay City for not having a valid Driver’s License. The driver was cited for OWL and Possession of THC. See report.

9:29 p.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for speed on Hwy 29 near 1170th St.

10:38 p.m.

Deputies were called to the 600 block of S. Piety St. in Ellsworth to deal with an unwanted subject. After arriving on scene, all parties involved were spoken with. A juvenile male was later given a ride home.

April 5 1:11 a.m.

A stolen truck and trailer were reported out of Rusk County.

1:11 a.m.

A driver was stopped for speed on 825th St. in Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI – 1st Offense and cited for speed.

3:33 a.m.

River Falls PD was assisted as needed with a criminal damage to property to complain in the 100 block of Spring St.

April 6 4:44 p.m.

Deputies were requested to respond to an address on 850th St. in River Falls for reported suspicious activity. The complainant stated a suspicious vehicle was driving in the area and drove into his driveway. Follow-up was made with the suspect, who stated he was playing with toy guns with his friends. The suspect was advised to act appropriately and not trespass on anyone’s property.

April 7 3:11 a.m.

A vehicle was observed driving in the 200 block of W. Main St. in Ellsworth with the owner showing a warrant through Pierce County and probation. Contact was made and the driver was the registered owner, who was arrested for warrants, operating after revocation alcohol related and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

11:25 a.m.

Deputies assisted the Pierce County Jail with a disorderly inmate.

11:52 a.m.

Deputies responded to assist the Spring Valley PD with a subject locked out of their house in Spring Valley. They were able to assist her through a window.

12:05 p.m.

Deputies responded to Hwy. 35 in Hager City for a reported suspicious person. The area was searched but the suspect vehicle was not located.

3:14 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on 887th Ave. in River Falls to a possible mailbox vandalism. While en route, the complainant called back and reported their neighbor admitted to damaging the mailbox and no longer needed response.

3:34 p.m.

An anonymous call was received regarding a subject passed out in their vehicle in the 400 block of Main St. The vehicle was located unoccupied in the area in front of the subject’s residence. The door was knocked on several times with no answer.

6:13 p.m.

Deputies responded to River Falls near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and 690th Ave. for a suspicious vehicle that had been parked on the side of the road for over an hour. Contact was made with the driver, who was working.

7:00 p.m.

Deputies were requested to remove debris from the roadway near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and 805th Ave. in River Falls.

7:33 p.m.

A driver was cited for speed after being observed traveling above the limit on Hwy. 29 near Cty. Tk. MM in River Falls.

April 8 5:27 a.m.

Deputies responded to Hwy. 29 near Cty. Tk. MM in River Falls for a one-vehicle rollover accident.

6:09 a.m.

A vehicle was reported to have slid in the ditch with no damage on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth.

6:30 a.m.

A deputy responded to the intersection of Hwy. 10 and 810th St. A crash report was completed.

7:38 a.m.

A deputy responded to Cty. Tk. BB in Ellsworth for a reported cow in the roadway. The owner was assisted.

7:55 a.m.

A pickup was reported to have slid in the ditch and struck a large road sign and four posts near the intersection of 890th Ave. and Hwy. 63 in Baldwin. An accident report was completed.

8:56 a.m.

Vandalism/criminal damage was reported on Hwy. 10 in Hager City.

5:37 p.m.

A driver was stopped for speed and cited for operating without a license. The driver was warned for speed and no insurance.

6:38 p.m.

A driver was stopped and warned for speed near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and Cty. Tk. QQ in Prescott.

7:08 p.m.

A driver was stopped and warned for speed on 1170th St. near Hwy. 10 in Prescott. The driver was cited for drug paraphernalia.

8:10 p.m.

A suspicious person was reported in the 700 block of N. Maple St. in Ellsworth.

10:27 p.m.

A vehicle was located on the side of the roadway near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. in Hager City. Contact was made with the owner, who stated they would be removing it the following day.

April 9 2:39 a.m.

A driver was stopped for showing the registered owner with a revoked MN driver’s license. The driver issued citations for operating without a license and Possession of THC.

10:46 a.m.

Deputies were given information about a possible subject offering candy to children near Cty. Tk. M in River Falls. The caller had no description of the subject, and the children did not see him and only heard the subject.

8:41 p.m.

A goat was reported in the roadway on Cty. Tk. C in Ellsworth. The goat was secured and returned to the owner.

9:43 p.m.

A driver was stopped for the registered owner showing revoked driver’s status. The driver was arrested for OWI – 1st Offense and PAC – 1st Offense, as well as cited for OWL, open intoxicants, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 10 12:49 a.m.

A vehicle was witnessed traveling at a high rate of speed near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and Cty. Tk. V in Hager City. Ellsworth PD located the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, who admitted to traveling at a high rate of speed. A citation was issued for speed.

8:29 a.m.

Deputies responded to 650th Ave. in Beldenville for a one-vehicle rollover with injuries. The driver was transported to the ER.

4 p.m.

A driver was cited for speed in Ellsworth near the intersection of Hwy. 10 and 530th St.

11:06 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 640th Ave. in Ellsworth for a hit-and-run accident. Information and pictures were gathered.

April 11 1:03 a.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for suspended vehicle registration. The driver was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
