The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 14-21.

Monday, Feb. 14

Officers responded at 12:38 a.m. to County Road U and 120th Street near Plum City for a vehicle in the ditch. A tow tugged out the vehicle and brought it to the driver’s home.

Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 5:44 a.m. at 141 Evergreen Estates St.

Police assisted Prescott police with traffic control at a crash scene at 6:54 a.m. at Hilton Street and Highway 10.

Officers were dispatched to a crash at 8:10 a.m. at 850th Avenue and County Road BB near Spring Valley.

Deputies assisted Spring Valley Fire at 10:01 a.m. at N7859 110th St., Spring Valley.

At 11:14 a.m., police responded to Highway 35 and 125th Avenue near Bay City for a vehicle in the ditch. A tow hauled the vehicle out of the ditch, which was drivable.

Police responded at 6:34 p.m. to W11156 County Road M, River Falls, for a domestic. The parties declined filling out statements but separated for the evening.

At 8:29 p.m., officers arrested a man at 878 Washington St., Prescott, for one misdemeanor bail jumping and three failure to appear warrants. Police transported him to Pierce County Jail.

Officers were called at 9:40 p.m. to W6920 Golf Course Lane, Ellsworth, for a vehicle idling in the parking lot of a closed business. Two juveniles were “hanging out” and told to go home.

Police responded at 11:22 p.m. to W2428 490th Ave., Elmwood, for an intoxicated woman who was being disorderly. Police asked her to go to bed.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:44 a.m. at 497th Avenue and 1180th Street near Prescott.

Officers assisted Ellsworth police with an unwanted person at 5:16 p.m. at the new smoke shop (161 W. Main St.)

At 5:21 p.m., police encountered a man with a known warrant walking in the road near Monroe and Laura streets in Prescott. He was arrested for failure to appear and transported to Pierce County Jail.

Deputies made contact with a disorderly woman at 8:03 p.m. at the sheriff’s office (555 W. Overlook Drive). They transported her to Red Wing Mayo for an evaluation.

A passerby reported a vehicle in the ditch at 9:13 p.m. at Highway 29 and 1170th Street near Prescott. It turned out to be a one-vehicle rollover without injuries.

Wednesday, Feb. 16

Officers responded at 8:05 a.m. to Highway 10 and 560th Avenue near Prescott for suspicious activity. A door had blown open on a pole shed. The owner said he’d arrange for someone to fix it.

A search warrant was completed at 12:25 p.m. at N8638 940th St., River Falls.

At 4:42 p.m., a caller reported an unknown vehicle had gotten stuck in his driveway at W8779 Highway 10 earlier in the morning. The vehicle caused damage to the yard and driveway. The suspect is unknown.

Officers were called at 5:36 p.m. to W2535 770th Ave., Spring Valley, for an unwanted woman. She left before police arrived.

Thursday, Feb. 17

A caller reported a possible stolen vehicle at 2:33 a.m. at W3856 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The alleged suspect has had permission to drive the vehicle for quite some time. The caller was informed it is a civil matter.

A woman called police at 6:51 a.m. from a truck near her barn at N2567 320th St., Maiden Rock, because she thought she may have dislocated her hip. EMS responded as well and police put hay out for the animals.

Deputies assisted St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office at 12:32 p.m. with a crash that involved a missing Hudson person near County Road M and 1060th Street, River Falls.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash at 5 p.m. at W10299 Highway 10, River Falls. Both drivers reported no injuries and the vehicles were towed.

Friday, Feb. 18

At 7:52 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving down a private road at N8203 1130th St., River Falls. Police checked and all appeared secure. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway at 9:44 a.m. at W11980 565th Ave., Prescott. The vehicle left before police arrived.

At 10:29 a.m., a caller reported witnessing a vehicle hit a dog at W10559 Highway 29, River Falls. The driver who hit the dog didn’t stop. Police were unsuccessful in making contact with the dog’s owner.

Deputies assisted River Falls police at 10:52 a.m. at Highway 35/65 and Division Street.

At 1:21 p.m., police were called to S910 Beltline Road, Spring Valley, for an unwanted person. The belligerent complainant left before police arrived, refusing to speak with officers.

A caller reported a man walking along the highway at 8:50 p.m. near 830th Avenue and Highway 65, River Falls. Police didn’t locate the man.

Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle at 8:55 p.m. W6490 Lake Pepin Blvd in Bay City. The driver said he and his girlfriend were having a talk.

Officers responded to a one-vehicle slide-in at 9:52 p.m. near 300th Street and Highway 10, Maiden Rock. A tow removed the vehicle.

A vehicle went into the ditch at 10:04 p.m. near 742nd Avenue and County Road F, River Falls. A tow arrived to pull the vehicle, which had front-end damage, out.

At 11:08 p.m., deputies assisted River Falls police at 113 ½ N. Main St.

Officers were called at 11:12 p.m. to 221 N. Public St., Elmwood, for a disorderly person. Two people were cited for disorderly conduct.

Saturday, Feb. 19 Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:22 a.m. at 713 N. Main St. with an alarm.

A vehicle went into the ditch at 3:04 a.m. at Highway 63 and 570th Avenue near Ellsworth. Police gave the driver a courtesy ride home while the vehicle was towed.

At 7:58 a.m., police went to N6364 1317th St., Prescott, to stand by and keep the peace while items were removed from the home.

Officers responded to a domestic at 9:58 a.m. at N6050 1200th St., Prescott.

Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 1:13 p.m. at S910 Beltline Road.

Police assisted Prescott police with a domestic at 2:38 p.m. at 935 Canton St.

Officers responded at 5:42 p.m. to 1003 First St., Plum City, for a truck vs. business with minor damage.

At 5:45 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle pulling into the driveway at N4381 Highway 63, Ellsworth. Police arrived and found nothing out of the ordinary.

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with road blockage and injuries at 7:37 p.m. at County Road QQ and Highway 10, Prescott. Allina EMS evaluated and released two people. Police arrested one man for OWI and transported him to Pierce County Jail.

A vehicle slide-in was reported at 8:26 p.m. near County Road K and Highway 63, Ellsworth. The driver had left the scene, but was located at home.

Deputies assisted State Patrol with a traffic stop at 9:40 p.m. at Highway 63 and County Road VV, Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI.

Sunday, Feb. 20

Officers responded at 12:35 a.m. at N6990 950th St., River Falls for a possible intruder. Nothing was located.

Deputies were called at 2:18 a.m. to N4726 Highway 63, Ellsworth, for a verbal domestic. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.

At 1:13 p.m., police checked on a suspicious man walking on Highway 72 near 170th Street, Elmwood. The man was walking to Elmwood after getting into a fight with his mother. Police gave him a courtesy ride to Memorial Park in Elmwood.

Monday, Feb. 21

Police responded to a field on fire at 6:16 a.m. at N2315 140th St., Plum City. The fire department extinguished the fire.

A passerby flagged down an officer at 6:49 a.m. at W1222 355th Ave., Plum City, to report a hole in the ice on the lake. He said he’d fallen through up to his waist but was able to get out. It said it was where a car had gone through last winter. The county park superintendent was informed.

Officers were called at 9:22 p.m. to Highway 63 and County Road Y, Spring Valley, for a vehicle that went into the ditch and took out a street sign.
