The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 7-13.

Monday, Feb. 7

Officers responded to a business alarm at 1:35 a.m. at 600 W. Winter Ave. in Elmwood. All was secure and nothing suspicious was located.

Deputies stood by while a garbage truck was tugged from the ditch at 7:58 a.m. at 740th Avenue and County Road QQ near Prescott.

Police responded to a shooting complaint at 2:10 p.m. near W4886 County Road G, Beldenville. The caller was concerned because new neighbors are out shooting frequently and a daycare is located in the neighborhood, along with a Vietnam veteran. The homeowner was made aware of the complaints and she said she’d have her son tone down the shooting.

A woman called police at 4:41 p.m. from W6396 Highway 35, Bay City, to report that two of her tires had been slashed.

Deputies assisted the DNR as needed at 4:52 p.m. at W11983 820th Ave., River Falls.

Officers responded at 7:26 p.m. to W6629 570th Ave., Ellsworth, for an unwanted person. The man left before police arrived.

Deputies assisted River Falls police with an unknown shooting complaint in city limits at 10:11 p.m. near South Sixth Street and East Cascade Avenue.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

Deputies responded to a noise complaint at 12:06 a.m. at 423 Kennedy St., River Falls. Police didn’t observe any people or hear any loud music.

Officers were called at 1:06 p.m. to N8017 County Road N, Spring Valley, where a caller had gotten his vehicle stuck in the neighbor’s driveway. The property owner said the vehicle could remain until a tow could be arranged.

Police were dispatched at 4:13 p.m. to 132 W. May Ave., Elmwood, for an unwanted person and possible violation of a no-contact order.

Officers located a man on the side of the road cutting wood at 5:40 p.m. near County Road EE and 170th Avenue near Bay City. He was unsure if he had permission, and said he’d contact the landowner before proceeding.

Police responded at 5:45 p.m. to N6591 County Road J, Beldenville, for a possible barn fire. It was smoke coming from an outside wood burner.

Wednesday, Feb. 9

Wisconsin State Patrol notified the Highway Department at 6:26 a.m. about ice on the road on Highway 128 near Spring Valley.

Police were called at 9:31 a.m. to 1170th Street and Highway 10 near Prescott for a semi in the ditch. A tow arrived to assist.

At 9:50 a.m., a caller reported the theft of five LED lights taken off a front-end loader at N8539 County Road B, Spring Valley. The caller declined to pursue a theft report, but requested extra patrol at the lumberyard.

A business owner reported a camper left behind at 11:41 a.m. at Highway 29 Express (W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley). The officer gave him several options and advised him it’s a civil matter at this point.

A complainant reported losing her Apple watch at 2:21 p.m. and said it was pinging to N7706 County Road O, River Falls. The residents said they didn’t have it, but would check the property for it.

A missing dog was reported at 7:50 p.m. at W12161 Highway 10, Prescott.

Police responded at 10:03 p.m. to W4199 890th Ave., Baldwin, for a horse in the caller’s backyard. The horse came from St. Croix County; police assisted in locating the owner and the horses made their way home.

Thursday, Feb. 10

Officers were called at 11:25 a.m. to W4387 Highway 72, Ellsworth, for an unwanted person. The woman was informed she is not welcome on the property and was told to leave, which she did.

Deputies assisted Prescott police at 1:54 p.m. with a domestic that had occurred at W11980 565th Ave., Prescott.

Police were called at 3:34 p.m. to respond to W6418 Highway 35, Bay City, to have a woman removed from the property. The woman was given a jacket and gloves and offered a ride to a Red Wing homeless shelter, which she refused. She left the property.

Officers responded at 6:06 p.m. to Highway 65 and 790th Street, Beldenville, for a vehicle in the ditch. The vehicle had no damage and was towed out. There were no injuries.

A deputy came across a one-vehicle slide-in at 6:38 p.m. near County Road O and 570th Avenue, Ellsworth. The deputy assisted occupants out of the car, who declined EMS. The driver said she lost control on the poor roads; she was cited for operate without valid license.

Police responded at 6:42 p.m. to W12417 832nd Ave., River Falls, for a domestic. Both parties were arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

Officers were called at 10:19 p.m. to a vehicle slide-in at 850th Avenue and Highway 63 near Spring Valley. The vehicle was removed.

Friday, Feb. 11

Police took a report of an accident at 2:37 a.m. that had occurred hours earlier at Highway 35 and 468th Avenue, Prescott. They located the accident scene and tagged a damaged guardrail. The driver was cited for failure to report an accident.

One-vehicle slide-ins were reported at 7:36 a.m. near North Second Street and Golfview Drive in Spring Valley and at 7:40 a.m. at W1500 Highway 29, Spring Valley.

Officers responded at 7:48 a.m. to Highway 35/830th Street in Hager City for a report of a juvenile walking on the railroad tracks. Police took the juvenile home.

A caller requested extra patrol at 9:11 a.m. for the area near Highway 65 and 760th Avenue, River Falls, for people who are off-roading in area fields.

Police responded to a pickup vs. guardrail crash at 9:58 a.m. near Highway 10 and 730th Street, Ellsworth. There were no injuries.

Officers were called at 10:17 a.m. to W4387 Highway 72, Ellsworth, for an unwanted and disorderly woman. She was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and cited for trespassing. A 72-hour no contact order was enforced.

A caller reported a one-vehicle crash with no injuries at 10:22 a.m. at 570th Street and Highway 35 near Bay City.

Deputies responded to a vehicle at 10:35 a.m. that had descended an embankment on a curve and hit some trees on the way down. The crash occurred near 1208th Street and 497th Avenue, Prescott. There were no injuries.

A vehicle slide-in was reported at 10:54 a.m. near 620th Avenue and Highway 10, Prescott.

Officers responded to a River Falls address at 11:44 a.m. for a juvenile that attempted to kill themselves by consuming acid. The juvenile was transported to a Minnesota facility by EMS.

A caller requested a welfare check at 1:17 p.m. on his father at W2623 County Road H, Maiden Rock. The man was found deceased in his kitchen.

Police were called to a onevehicle accident without injury at 3:07 p.m. near County Road D and 290th Avenue, Bay City.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover without injuries at 6:04 p.m. near Highway 63 and County Road Y, Spring Valley.

Police provided traffic control at a vehicle slide-in at 6:45 p.m. at N3941 Highway 35, Prescott.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch with no damage at 7:20 p.m. at Highway 63 and 320th Avenue, Hager City. The vehicle was towed out.

Deputies were called at 10:29 p.m. to W6324 Highway 35, Bay City, for suspicious men outside the store after hours. They were gone when police arrived.

Saturday, Feb. 12

Officers were called at 12:17 a.m. to W3581 160th Ave., Maiden Rock, where a woman had been found deceased. A search warrant was obtained and executed on the residence.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover without injury at 2:05 a.m. at Highway 35 and County Road E, Prescott. The driver was no longer on the scene, but phone contact was made.

A man called police at 11:42 a.m. to report his mother has been sending him derogatory text messages and namecalling. He said he didn’t respond to her as a no contact order is in place and he now lives in Iowa. A message was left for the mother to stop being mean.

Police responded at 12:16 p.m. to N8638 940th St., River Falls, for an out-of-control adult woman who was manic. Police attempted to speak with her.

Police received an animal complaint about a dog left outside at 3:16 p.m. at W9088 Highway 29, River Falls. The owner had let the dog out for about 15 minutes to use the bathroom. No signs of neglect were observed.

Police completed animal bite paperwork for a woman whose own dog bit her at 3:38 p.m. at N3407 840th St., Hager City.

Officers responded to a onevehicle rollover at 4:27 p.m. near 1094th Street and County Road FF, River Falls. No injuries were reported.

Deputies were called at 9:26 p.m. to N8638 940th St., River Falls, for a disorderly person. The subjects were separated.

Police were sent at 10:47 p.m. to W12465 655th Ave., Prescott, for an intoxicated man who had fallen and wanted to drive. EMS arrived and transported the man to the hospital.

Officers assisted River Falls police at 10:50 p.m. at 919 Sycamore St. with a domestic. A man was arrested for domestic- related charges after fighting with law enforcement.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident without injuries at 11:40 p.m. at County Road BB and 750th Avenue, Spring Valley.

Sunday, Feb. 13

Police were called to a onevehicle rollover with injury at 12:03 a.m. at W12154 Highway 29, Prescott. The driver and passenger were both transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul by EMS. A tow company removed the vehicle.

When police attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding at 2:33 a.m. near Highway 65 and County Road J in Beldenville, the vehicle sped up and fled police. The driver eventually pulled over and was arrested for felony fleeing. Citations were also issued for speeding and operate without valid license.

Officers responded at 2:46 a.m. to W1511 County Road S, Plum City, for a vehicle in the ditch that was partially blocking the traffic lane. The driver was not on the scene; a tow company removed the vehicle.

A power line was found down across the road at 3:26 a.m. near N8235 County Road B, Spring Valey. Xcel arrived and cleared the line.

A caller reported a suspicious person complaint at 10:33 a.m. at W8110 770th Ave., River Falls. A woman said someone had possibly taken or moved her things. She also reported concerns about someone killing a baby raccoon and messing with her ponies.

Officers stopped to check on a snowmobile in the ditch at 4:14 p.m. near Highway 65 and County Road W, Beldenville. It appeared the snowmobile had rolled and fallen into a cement culvert in the ditch. The driver reported no injuries and declined EMS. The owner arranged for a tow.

A caller reported trespassing at 4:31 p.m. at W2888 230th Ave., Maiden Rock. The suspect said he’d had a birthday party the night before and his guests didn’t know the property lines.

Police found a vehicle that had gone off the roadway at 11:58 p.m. near 945th Street and Highway 35, Hager City, and struck a sign. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for OWI-first.
