The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 22-28.

Monday, Nov. 22

At 9:30 a.m., a caller reported a possible abandoned truck that’s been sitting in a parking lot at 310 Pine Ave., Plum City. Officers gave the caller options.

Police informed the highway department of a downed street sign t 10:43 a.m. near Highway 65 and 760th Avenue, River Falls.

Police performed a check welfare visit at 1:08 p.m. at W7398 130th Ave., Hager City. A friend came to stay with the resident.

At 2:26 p.m., a caller reported a man had taken her wallet without her consent at 1003 First St., Plum City.

A caller reported a suspicious person in their yard at 2:53 p.m. at W7687 161st Ave., Hager City. It turned out to be their insurance agent.

Tuesday, Nov. 23

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash without injury at 7:21 a.m. near Highway 65 and 740th Street, Beldenville. Police spoke with multiple people and a witness. One driver had a revoked driving status.

Police responded at 7:41 a.m. to N1281 385th St., Maiden Rock, for a trespassing complaint. The suspect said she was walking the snowmobile trail and thought she was on public land still. She was warned to stay off the property and take care when walking through the woods during deer hunting season.

At 8:29 a.m., a complainant reported an unwanted male on her property at N6091 County Road QQ, Prescott.

At 11:41 a.m., a caller reported moved barricades at W5900 Highway 35, Bay City. An extra lock had also been placed on the outer doors.

Police received a report about an injured cow at 2:57 p.m. at N4688 110th St., Elmwood. The cow’s owner told police he was trying to find a butcher to come get the cow.

Officers responded at 3:39 p.m. to N2319 County Road A, Maiden Rock, for a house fire. After speaking with multiple people, a man was arrested for several charges.

A caller reported a verbal domestic at 6 p.m. at W10343 879th Ave., River Falls. The parties agreed to separate for the night.

Officers responded at 6:53 p.m. to County Road VV/Highway 35, Hager City for a vehicle vs. tree crash. The driver had minor injuries but denied EMS.

A caller reported running equipment and lights blinking at 9:19 p.m. near 650th Avenue and 330th Street, Elmwood. Police responded and people were there working.

Deputies assisted Ellsworth police in trying to locate a fleeing vehicle at 11:26 p.m. near East Main and South Dar streets in Ellsworth. The vehicle wasn’t located.

At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to N7652 650th St., Beldenville, for an unwanted person. A woman had walked to the neighbor’s house after arguing with a man. Police checked her residence but located no one. She returned home and said it had been a minor verbal argument.

Wednesday, Nov. 24

Police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at the Plum City Dollar General (1003 First St.) at 5:11 a.m. The vehicle was unoccupied and the store secure.

At 8:31 a.m., a caller requested a welfare check on a man who had been dropped off near W7085 410th Ave., Ellsworth, with no coat. Police located him and he was okay.

Officers responded at 9:47 a.m. to the area of Highway 10 and 560th Avenue, Prescott, for a driving complaint concerning a black Cadillac Crossfire. Police located the vehicle parked unoccupied on 560th Avenue but couldn’t find the driver.

Deputies responded at 10:40 a.m. to a suspicious vehicle complaint near N6526 1323rd St., Prescott. Police contacted the registered owner of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, who said he’d sold it in April.

A caller reported several beer cans dumped on the side of the road at 11:43 a.m. along 740th Street, Ellsworth. There are no suspects.

Police assisted Goodhue County and the Minnesota DNR with a boat crash near N1705 860th St., Hager City. Goodhue County was handling the crash report.

A caller advised police of a hit gas line at 4:28 p.m. near W9840 805th Ave., River Falls. River Falls Fire responded, along with St. Croix Gas.

At 4:42 p.m., callers reported being forced off the road due to a vehicle passing in a no-passing zone near N5167 860th St., Ellsworth. The driver was cited for operating without a license.

At 8:50 p.m., police received a complaint about an intoxicated driver who had left N6385 1297th St., Prescott. Prescott police checked the area but didn’t locate the suspect.

Deputies responded at 9:17 p.m. to County Road OO and 500th Avenue, Hager City, for a once-vehicle crash. The driver had passed out behind the wheel and was arrested for OWI-first.

Thursday, Nov. 25

Deputies assisted Prescott police with a domestic incident at 1:15 a.m. at 117 Broad St.

Police arrested a driver for OWI-second after a traffic stop at 2:21 a.m. near Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City, for no license plate lamps and expired registration.

Suspicious activity was reported at 10:16 a.m. at N7425 1170th St., Prescott.

Friday, Nov. 26

Officers responded at 11:32 a.m. to W3368 730th Ave., Spring Valley, for an unexpected death.

A caller reported at 11:532 a.m. a homeless man walking on Highway 10 towards Ellsworth near County Road QQ. Police didn’t locate him.

Deputies responded at 4:17 p.m. to a trespassing complaint at N1978 830th St., Hager City. The vehicle’s owners were hunting and had permission to be on the land.

Police were called at 6:04 p.m. to W3470 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, for a possible fire. It was a controlled bonfire.

Officers responded at 6:51 p.m. to W10041 Highway 29, River Falls, where two vehicles had struck the same deer. The deer was dead when police arrived.

A cow broke out of his pen at 8:39 p.m. near county road HH and CC, Elmwood. The cow was returned to his pen and his farmer contacted.

At 9:49 p.m., a caller reported someone banging on the door at W12057 757th Ave., River Falls. No one was located.

Saturday, Nov. 27

Police were called at 3:26 a.m. to N7046 710th St., Beldenville, for a suspicious vehicle parked in the road. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

Deputies responded at 5:03 a.m. to 412 Main St., Plum City, for an intoxicated man. He requested to be taken to a hospital.

Officers were dispatched at 9:51 a.m. to W12070 742nd Ave., River Falls, for suspicious activity. The caller wanted it documented.

A caller reported finding five loose cattle at 4:02 p.m., which he corralled on his farm at W6299 County Road N, Beldenville.

A caller reported at 5:16 p.m. hearing 10-12 shots in the area of N5001 810th St., Ellsworth. No one was located.

Sunday, Nov. 28

Police observed a suspicious vehicle pull into the parking lot after hours at 3:06 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. The man was an employee.

Deputies assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol with a warrant arrest at 6:34 a.m. near Highway 29 and County Road E, River Falls.

At 11:32 a.m., a caller reported an open mailbox at the Bay City Mobile Home Park. An officer secured the mailbox and attempted to contact the post office.

Officers were notified of a possible fire at 6:53 p.m. at N258 325th St., Maiden Rock. They assisted Lund Fire on the scene. It appeared to be an electrical fire from a power pole near the house. The homeowners were notified and Xcel Energy responded.

At 7:43 p.m., police responded to N4076 County Road OO, Hager City, where a suspicious vehicle was on fire on private property. Police collected information and photos.
