Headshaker of the week. With the girls and boys state basketball tournament scheduled for the next two weekends, I will pause this week’s headshaker in anticipation of embarrassing moments that will most likely occur during the state championship trophy presentations. My guess is a coach or two will figuratively or perhaps literally, rip the state trophy out of the hands of a WIAA Board of Control member and hoist it aloft in a Charlton Heston NRA gun toting manner and seemingly be forced to hand the gold ball over to the players. It happens every year. What coach will prove me prophetic?
