TOWN OF RIVER FALLS – A 55-year-old Roberts man was ejected from a snowmobile in the town of River Falls Sunday, Feb. 26.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-snowmobile crash at 11:43 a.m. on the trail west of County Road W near 855th Avenue. Jeffrey Klingfus was operating a 2015 Polaris Assault 600 northbound on the trail when he lost control while approaching a stop sign. He was thrown from the snowmobile when it overturned.
Allina EMS transported Klingfus to River Falls Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries. River Falls Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
