ELLSWORTH – The Spring Free Community Clothing Exchange will take place on Saturday, March 11 in the Zion Covenant Church Community Center (201 N. Beulah St., Ellsworth).
Drop off your gently used (still wearable) clothing from newborn to adult sizes between 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 9. Volunteers will organize clothing based on size; labeling bags helps volunteers in the sorting process. Those who drop off items will get a ticket to “shop” first on Saturday morning.
Ticket holder shopping will be open 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 11. The exchange is then open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to noon. No fee or donation is required to “shop.” Items left over will be donated to a local charity. Bags and boxes are available, but feel free to bring your own as well.
Shoes and books are also welcome. Please do not bring furniture, toys, bedding or other household items.
