ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Public Library invites all teens (ages 12-18) to kick off spring with a fun-filled afternoon at the Spring Teen Meet-Up: The Great Tortilla Chip Challenge from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.
Held in the Library’s Teen Room and Makerspace, this free event offers the perfect mix of food, creativity, and social time. Teens can put their taste buds to the test in the Great Tortilla Chip Taste Test Challenge—sampling a variety of chips and voting to crown the ultimate champion.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Attendees can build their own fully loaded ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings, design and create custom buttons, and craft colorful chili pepper maracas to take home.
Whether you’re coming for the snacks, the crafts, or just a chance to hang out with friends, this high-energy event is a great way to celebrate spring and connect with others in the community.
This event is free and open to all teens, and no registration is required.
For more information, contact the Ellsworth Public Library or stop by the Youth Services desk.
Bring a friend—or a few—and join us for an afternoon that’s sure to crunch, create, and celebrate!
