TOWN OF ELLSWORTH – An Ellsworth man was thrown from his ATV Tuesday night when he tried to avoid an animal in the road.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an ATV crash with injury at 8:59 p.m. June 29 on 570th Avenue near 610th Street in the town of Ellsworth.
Gregory Marks, 67, had been operating a 2011 Polaris Sportsman eastbound on 570th Avenue when he performed an evasive maneuver to avoid an animal in the roadway. He was thrown from the ATV. Ellsworth Area Ambulance transported Marks to River Falls Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Ellsworth Police assisted Ellsworth Ambulance and PCSO at the scene.

Plum City man to hospital

TOWN OF UNION – A one-vehicle rollover crash Sunday, June 27 in the town of Union resulted in a Plum City man being transported to the hospital.
At 8:28 p.m. Pierce County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on County Road U near 220th Avenue.
A 2003 Mazda 6, driven by Jake King, 33, was heading southbound on County Road U when it crossed the center line into the opposite lane of traffic, went down an embankment into the east ditch and overturned.
Plum City Area Ambulance transported King to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, Minn., with undisclosed injuries.
Plum City Fire Department assisted Plum City Area Ambulance and PCSO at the scene.

TOWN OF OAK GROVE – At 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV rollover crash in the town of Oak Grove near County Road QQ and 570th Avenue.
A 15-year-old Prescott juvenile was operating a 2004 Arctic Cat ATV, lost control and rolled the vehicle. Allina Health transported the youth to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries.
Allina Health/Prescott Area Ambulance Service assisted PCSO on the scene.
