Stagehands celebrate 40 years and all things Wisconsin in ‘Cheeseheads, the Musical’

SPRING VALLEY – The Spring Valley Stagehands are celebrating their 40th year as a community theatre all year. The yearlong celebration will hit another high point when “Cheeseheads, the Musical” hits the stage in September.

At Schnaybel’s Famous Cheese, the lotto is just the ticket to help the workers take their minds off how things are in Sheboygan. Their beloved founder Nathan Schnaybel has passed away, the company has been purchased by Conglomerated Cheese Corporation, and they’ve sent their Texas-based process and efficiency expert to Schnaybel’s to get things in line. Unless the factory hits their numbers, it may be shut down. With typical Wisconsin good humor, the workers carry on while keeping their fingers crossed that something better will come their way.

Director Lori Peterson and the fun filled cast invite you to this modern-day dairy-tale with a lotto heart – it’s a cheese-filled celebration of all things Wisconsin! The show is scheduled to run Sept. 5, 6, 12, 13, and 19 at 7 p.m., and Sept. 7, 13, 14, and 20 at 2 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at www.svstagehands.org
