Join Stagehands Theatre for The Secret Garden beginning June 12— the breathtaking musical that reminds us how love, forgiveness, and a little bit of magic can bring even the darkest places back to life, and that even after the darkest winters, new life can bloom. Filled with beautiful music, powerful storytelling, and unforgettable characters, this timeless story of renewal, family, and finding beauty in unexpected places is one you won’t want to miss.
With a book and lyrics by Marsha Norman, music by Lucy Simon, and based upon the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this production is directed by Ann Turner and Saskia Schroeder. The 16-member cast is made up of a variety of ages and home locations in the area. Some are veterans of the Spring Valley Stagehands, and some are new to the theatre stage. The show opens June 12 at Stagehands Theatre and runs June 12-13, 16-17, and 19-20 at 7 p.m.; June 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at www.svstagehands.org.
