The COVID pandemic is impacting our elections this year._ Let's support the people who are ensuring that our democratic process works by making absentee balloting, early voting, safe-at-the-poll voting and vote-counting possible. Bring a sign and your voice and join your neighbors in a nonpartisan march or car parade to say “Thank you – You are helping our democracy work.”
These events are taking place in four Pierce County locations: River Falls on October 24, 31, Nov. 7, and 14 from 10 – 11 AM. Meet at Veterans Park.
Prescott on October 24 from 11:30 – 12:30. Meet across from the Dairy Queen.
Ellsworth on October 31 and November 14 from 11:30 – 12:30. Meet at the courthouse corner.
Spring Valley on November 7 from 11:30 – 12:30. Meet at Handy Andy Park.
Masks and physical distancing will be required to help keep our community safe. These “Strengthen Our Democracy” events are sponsored by Pierce County Grassroots Organizing. For more information go to the PCGRO website: piercecountygro.org.
