Jamie Fortney
The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is sophomore Jamie Fortney, nominated by Prescott High School social studies teacher Mandy Bernick.
“Jamie has worked hard first and second trimesters in two college transcripted U.S. History courses at Prescott High School,” Bernick said. “Jamie is a responsible and dependable student in the classroom. Her efforts are earning her six college credits. It has been a pleasure to watch Jamie’s creativity and higherlevel thinking grow this school year.”
Jamie is the daughter of
Justin and Becky Fortney. She enjoys four wheeling, baking, and painting. This year she is a member of the trap team. In the future, she plans to attend college and travel.
