PRESCOTT KIWANIS CLUB
Abbi Maier
The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is senior Abbi Maier, nominated by Prescott High School teacher Lindsay Charles.
“In all of her years at the high school, Abbi has always been a kind, hardworking student who shows maturity beyond her years,” Charles said. “Abbi always puts effort into her work and studying in order to be the best student that she can be, and she goes above and beyond always. In class, she is respectful to her peers and teachers, is always on task and paying attention, and uses her time wisely. Abbi is an absolute joy to have in class!”
Abbi is the daughter of Randy and Kim Maier. She works at Dick’s Fresh Market in River Falls as a cashier.
“I do a lot of different community service through 4-H,” Maier said. “Some of those include ditch clean-up twice a year, and we donate to many different charities.”
She enjoys shopping, baking and hanging out with family and friends in her free time. In the future, she plans to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire for the central service technician program and the surgical technician program.
