PRESCOTT KIWANIS CLUB
Anna Thomley
The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is senior Anna Thomley, nominated by Prescott High School science teacher Lori Pedretti.
“This is the first year I have had the opportunity to work with Anna,” Pedretti said. “She currently is enrolled in one of my chemistry sections and splits the time with a class at UWRF. I find Anna to be a wonderful role model for her fellow students, honest, responsible and a thoughtful young woman. She is very dedicated to work hard to accomplish her goals and I have enjoyed getting to know her.”
Anna is the daughter of Allison Thomley and Mike Thomley. She is a TEC camp worker and volunteers at nursing homes and Prescott Daze. The honor roll students is a National Honor Society member, plays on the volleyball team and is on the Student Council. She enjoys painting and reading.
She plans to attend UWMadison for a degree in biomedical engineering. She would like to work in prosthetic design.
