A Spring Valley man sustained injuries in a crash involving a dump truck in Spring Lake Township Tuesday, Dec. 1.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the accident was reported at 8:04 a.m., and morning sun was believed to be a factor in the crash.
According to reports, a 2010 Honda CRV driven by Jerry Larson, 82, Spring Valley, was southbound on Hwy. 128 attempting a left turn on 850th Avenue where it was struck by a northbound dump truck. The County Materials dump truck was driven by Kevin Larson, 61, Baldwin.
Jerry Larson was transported by Spring Valley Area Ambulance with undetermined injuries to Mayo Hospital in Menomonie.
Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Spring Valley Police Department and Spring Valley Area Ambulance Service.
