sweeping through Green Bay.
Dodgeville jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning off of three singles, a stolen base and a double. The Cardinals quickly answered, tying the game in the top of the third. Brynley Goehring reached on an error and advanced to second on a passed ball. Sydney Matzek singled, and Temmers singled also. A Dodgeville error brought Goehring home and put Matzek and Temmers in scoring position. Isabella Lenz singled, and brought the two runners home.
Dodgeville was able to get single runs in the fifth and sixth innings and keep the lid on the Prescott offense to earn the title.
Lenz picked up two hits for the Cards in the championship game.
