RIVER FALLS – We're excited to announce that this year's winner of the 2024 River Falls Rotary Burger Battle is Tarnation Tavern!

This was one of the tightest battles we've ever seen with Tarnation beating out last year's winner, Lazy River, by less than .034 average points!

Congratulations Tarnation Tavern on being voted the BEST burger in town with the Smash burger, featuring Gouda, lettuce, bacon, Nashville aioli, maple bacon BBQ and onion tanglers.

Here are a few fun facts about this year's battle:

• There were seven participating restaurants during the 2024 Burger Battle, including Juniors RF, Lazy River Bar & Grill (2023 winner), Paddy’s Pub & Boxty House, Tarnation Tavern, Tattersall Distilling, The Table on Main and West Wind Supper Club.
• 1,377 burgers were served (based on ballots returned) over a two-month period
• The most burgers served at one location was 219 at Tarnation Tavern
• Close to $17,000 was raised to support the River Falls Rotary Club's mission of enhancing opportunities for youth and creating a better world for all through community focused projects

We would also like to thank each of our participating restaurants for their extreme generosity. Because of them, this was another successful River Falls Rotary Burger Battle!
