RIVER FALLS – The River Falls Rotary and six local restaurants completed another successful Burger Battle for 2026. The Rotary Burger Battle is a fundraiser for the organization, and the money is reinvested in local projects.
The six restaurants that participated in the Burger Battle this year were Junior’s Restaurant & Tap House, Streeters Bar & Grill, Nutty Squirrel Sports Saloon, Tarnation Tavern, West Wind Supper Club, and Tattersall Distillery River Falls.
Three hundred tickets were quickly sold, and ticket holders could begin enjoying delicious specially crafted burgers beginning Jan. 1. The contest continued until Feb. 28 when the participants could vote on which burger they liked the best. It was a close race, but Tattersall won the Burger Battle.
Tattersall should be pleased with their win and they will put their Burger Battle burger on their regular menu this summer. If you missed the Burger Battle, you can still enjoy the winning Peach & Pepper Blizzard Burger: CAB burger, fresh grilled buttered bun, bacon, goat cheese, arugula and peach-habanero jam.
River Falls Rotary raised $18,000 which will be invested back into the local community.
The River Falls Rotary is always ready to welcome new members and visitors. If you are interested, you can email riverfallsrotary@gmail.com. The club meets at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., River Falls.
