ELLSWORTH — Teens looking for something fun to do without a screen in sight are invited to Teen Screen-Free Night at the Ellsworth Public Library from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Held in the library’s Teen Room and Makerspace, this free event is part of Ellsworth Middle School’s Screen-Free Week and offers teens a chance to unplug, hang out, and have fun the old-school way — together.

Participants can expect board and group games, hands-on crafts, and plenty of treats, all in a relaxed, welcoming space designed just for teens. Whether you come with friends or show up solo, it’s an easy way to meet new people, try something creative, and take a break from phones, apps, and endless scrolling.

“No screens, no pressure — just fun,” organizers say. “Teen Screen-Free Night is all about giving teens a place to be themselves, laugh, and connect.”

The event is free and open to all teens, and no registration is required.

For more information, contact the Ellsworth Public Library or stop by the Youth Services desk.
