It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Lindstrom, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 64, after his courageous battle with cancer.
Born on Feb. 1, 1962 in Rockford, Ill., Terry lived a life marked by kindness, strength and a deep love for family and friends. From an early age, he was known for his generous heart, unwavering loyalty and his ability to bring warmth and laughter to those around him. Throughout his life, whether through work, hobbies, or time spent with loved ones, he left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In his personal life, Terry found great joy in the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he cherished time spent in nature with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. In his professional life, he worked as a well driller and skilled welder where he took great pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way. Above all, Terry deeply valued time with those he loved. His humor, compassion, and willingness to help others will be profoundly missed.
Terry is survived by his youngest brother, Todd Ames (Sheila); his sister-in-law, Michelle Studer; and his children, Johanna and Joseph.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Ames; his son, Jeremiah Lindstrom; and his two older brothers, Tim and Tom Studer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his brother, Todd Ames.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories we shared with Terry. His love, laughter, and legacy will remain with us always, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of life will be held by family and friends from 2-6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Captain Jacks Bar in Hager City, Wis. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate Terry’s life and memories shared with him.
