TOWN OF SALEM – The Rush River ice sculptures on Roger Nelson’s town of Salem property will be featured on Minnesota Live at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5.
Nelson, whose extensive piping system brings to life natural ice sculptures formed by artesian well water each winter, said the crew filmed the segment on Monday, Jan. 2.
The public is welcome to visit the sculptures at N2696 County Road A, Maiden Rock. Donations for the sculptures’ operation are accepted, although admission is free. The Nelsons ask that visitors stay off the pond.
