Saturday, Feb. 12 Seventh Annual Funsters Ice Fishing Contest, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Roger Nelson’s Rush River Ice Sculptures (N2696 County Road A, Maiden Rock). Fishing, fun and prizes. Winter Wonders Hike, 1 p.m., Kinnickinnic State Park (W11983 820th Ave., River Falls). Meet at the external parking lot on 770th Avenue off County Road F. Join the naturalist and discover one of her favorite winter hiking trails. The 3-mile hike goes through several different habitats and offers beautiful, ridge-top views of the Kinnickinnic. Dress for the weather and bring along water, good hiking boots and binoculars. The event is free but park vehicle admission is required. Cupid’s Ball, 1-4 p.m., Brother Michael Center, Spring Valley. Hosted by the Spring Valley Royalty. A family night of dancing and fun in celebration of Valentine’s Day!
