6:30 p.m., Ellsworth Public Library (388 W. Main St., Ellsworth). Let’s share books, conversation, and community. This month’s selection is “Valentine” by Elizabeth Wetmore. Books are available for checkout at the library. Meet in the new meeting room.

Cookbook Club, 6:30 p.m., Plum City Public Library (611 Main St.) February’s cookbook is “Dinner In One: Exceptional & Easy One-Pan Meals” by Melissa Clark. Copies are available for checkout at the circulation desk.

Linda S. Miller, 7 p.m., River Falls Public Library (140 Union St.) Author Linda S. Miller creates literary works that help educate young children about the roots of racism and prejudice. Her books stimulate learning and build compassion for diversity and inclusion. This presentation and discussion is geared toward adults, parents and teachers.

Friday, Feb. 17 Muffins in the Mornin’, 10 a.m., Plum City Public Library (611 Main St.) A time for adults and children to eat, play, and socialize. Various breakfast foods will be provided.

Plum City Senior Class Silent Auction, 4-7 p.m., Plum City High School Commons. All proceeds will go toward the 2023 senior class trip.

Saturday, Feb. 18 Robotics Exploration, 10 a.m., Ellsworth Public Library (388 W. Main St., Ellsworth). Join computer engineer Mike Benoy and Ms. Caroline for a morning of robotics exploration. We will build the new robots, purchased from a Green Bay Packers Foundation Grant. For ages 8 and up. Walk-ins welcome, but preference given to those who register.

Winter Walk at Cairns Woods, 4-7 p.m., West Cairns Street, Ellsworth. Walk the illuminated trail, warm up by the bonfire and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. Brought to you by Ellsworth Trails Committee volunteers.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, 4-7:30 p.m., Bay City American Legion Post 357 (W6450 Main St., Bay City). Serving spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, coffee, milk and adult beverages. Cost is $10 for adults, $6 for 12 and under. Curbside and takeout available.

Dinner & A Show, 7 p.m., Elmwood Auditorium (323 W. Winter Ave.) Elmwood Area Community Club proudly presents a homemade lasagna dinner and a show by the UW-River Falls Music Department. Tickets are $20 per person. RSVP by Feb. 10 to Amy at 715-505-4005. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Prescott Sportsman’s Club Banquet, 4:30 p.m., The Old Ptacek’s Event Center (1449 Orrin Road, Prescott). Happy hour and raffles begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. More than $20,000 in prizes will be raffled, along with 25 firearms, optics, hunting/sporting gear, apparel and more. 150 seats available; contact a member for tickets.

Sunday, Feb. 19 Ellsworth Elementary School Carnival, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., EES (445 S. Piety St., Ellsworth). Games ,prizes, raffles, food, sure to be a fun day!

Tuesday, Feb. 21 Community Meal, 5-6:30 p.m., St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (W5706 Highway 72, Ellsworth). The Random Acts of Kindness team invites you to come as you are for a free meal. Stay and hang out while you enjoy your meal or take it to go.
