Thursday, Nov. 3 Rock Elm Old Settler’s
Meeting, noon, Rock Elm Methodist Church (5991 170th St., Elmwood). Hosted by the Pierce County Historical Association, everyone is welcome to join the oldest group’s annual meeting, a tradition begun in the 1880s. The traditional lunch of chicken pot pie is served at noon with meeting and photo presentation to follow.
Thursday, Nov. 3-Sunday, Nov. 13 Oklahoma!, Ellsworth High School Auditorium (323 W. Hillcrest St., Ellsworth). EHS proudly presents Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! Show times are 7 p.m. Nov. 3,4,5,10,11, and 12 and 2 p.m. Nov. 13. Tickets are $7 per adult and $3 per student. Tickets available at EHS office; reserved seating this year, but tickets can be purchased at the door (seats will be chosen with what is available).

Sunday, Nov. 6 PCHA Open House, 12-4 p.m., Pierce County Historical Association (W6321 Main St., Bay City). The exhibit “What They Wore” will debut, highlighting a collection of military uniforms complete with reenactment. A fundraiser will kick off where people can sponsor longterm military uniform storage.
Friday, Nov. 11 Prescott Veterans Day, 8 a.m., Prescott High School commons area (1010 Dexter St.) Prescott High and Middle schools will host donuts and coffee in the commons area 8-8:30 a.m., followed by a program recognizing veterans at 8:30 a.m. on the gymnasium. Any veterans (and families) interested in attending, please contact the main school office to reserve a spot.

9 a.m., Ellsworth Middle School (312 Panther Drive). Speakers, music, tribute to veterans, plus a Purple Heart award ceremony.
