LETTER to the Editor
What is interim final rule guidance?
To the editor, I found a spare copy of The Journal in a Prescott coffee shop. I agree with John McLoone (My View) that hometown papers are important but if your goal is to publish the best newspaper possible, please take a look at this sentence: “The US Department of Treasury provided interim final rule guidance on how (federal Covid relief funds) could be used.”
•I have never heard of the US Department of Treasury, just like I’d never heard of the MN Dept. of Health before the (novel) Corona virus Covid-19 SARS CoV-2 and variants appeared. •What does “interim final rule guidance” mean?
The American people get this kind of nonsense all the time in the pandemic reports.
How long do you think our democracy will last with a press that says nothing if we, the people also say nothing?
