TOWN OF TRENTON – A two-vehicle crash in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 17 sent one Hager City man to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene at 2:02 a.m. on State Highway 63 near 810th Street in the town of Trenton.
A 2002 Toyota Tundra, operated by 24-year-old Dillon Schuler of Cannon Falls, Minn., was traveling southbound on Highway 63 when it crossed the center line and struck a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Michael Quiding, 51, Hager City. Quiding was heading northbound on Highway 63. Schuler’s truck rolled over and came to rest in the middle of the highway. Quiding’s truck came to rest in the northbound lane.
Red Wing Area Ambulance service evaluated Quiding on the scene. A personal vehicle took him to the hospital. Schuler was evaluated and refused transport.
Ellsworth Fire also assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
