Two RF residents in court on charges of maintaining drug house

Initial court appearances were scheduled this week in Pierce County for four people who were arrested at an alleged drug house in River Falls.

Felony charges against the four, two of whom are from River Falls, were filed late last year in Pierce County Circuit Court following an in-depth investigation of an incident that occurred at a residence on 1201 Bartosh Lane, Apt. 2 in River Falls last May.

After River Falls EMS was called for a man who allegedly had taken “molly,” met hylenedioxy-me th amphetamine (MDMA) – a synthetic mood-altering drug.

Investigators got a search warrant after seeing drugs and paraphernalia in the apartment, as well as a gun. With the warrant, police seized $19,000 in cash, a camera system and phones containing text messages about drug sales. Video evidence showed alleged drug dealing at the apartment, which is located less than 1,000 feet from Rocky Branch Elementary School.

River Falls residents charged were Aliya G. Veilieux, 25,2469 Dawes Place, Unit D, and Megan Ann Brophy, 26, of the same address.

Veilieux and Brophy were each charged with Possess with Intent-Designer Drugs, Possession with Intent to Deliver/Distribute a Controlled Substance On or Near a School, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place and Possession with Intent-THC.

Also arrested and receiving the same charges was Kyle Randy Schultz, 23, of St. Paul. Schultz was also charged with receiving stolen property.

Also charged was Brittany Marie Wright, 27, of Stillwater, MN. Wright was charged with possession with Possession with Intent to Deliver/Distribute a Controlled Substance On or Near a School.

The four were scheduled this week for initial appearances in the matter.
