United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys has released its 2025 211 Holiday Guide to help residents plan for the upcoming holiday season. The guide serves as a central directory of local programs offering holiday gift assistance, meals, winter clothing, and other support. It also highlights ways community members can volunteer or donate throughout Burnett, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties.
Programs included in the guide range from toy and clothing giveaways to Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, winter clothing distribution, and family adopt-a-program initiatives. Each listing includes program eligibility, application deadlines, service areas, and contact information, making it easy for families to access resources and for volunteers to get involved.
“Each year as the holidays approach, UW Valleys works with area organizations to highlight additional programs to help families bridge the gap,” said Trica Trowbridge, 211 Director at United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys. “Where it’s the need for holiday food, a community meal to enjoy with others, or gifts for children, local programs are here to help. Besides the guide, we encourage community members to call 211. At 211, we can connect you to more resources beyond the needs of the holiday season and even connect those interested in volunteering or donating to local programs.”
Residents seeking assistance or wishing to volunteer can access the guide online at uwvalleys.org/news/2025-holiday-guide or call 211 for more information.
