United Way St. Croix Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve McCarthy as its new Executive Director. McCarthy, a seasoned nonprofit executive, brings more than 25 years of experience to the organization and will oversee all aspects of United Way St. Croix's operations.
"We are thrilled to welcome Steve to United Way St. Croix Valley," said United Way’s board president, Todd Sherman. "Steve's extensive experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and community development will be a tremendous asset to our organization as we work to improve the lives of individuals and families throughout the St. Croix Valley area.”
Prior to joining United Way St. Croix Valley, McCarthy served as the Executive Director of Envision Greater Green Bay and President and CEO of Curative Connections, nonprofit organizations in Green Bay, as well as other leadership roles with Lutheran Social Services. He oversaw multi-million-dollar budgets and led the organizations’ community impact efforts.
