On Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at about 6:22 pm, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a UTV crash on private property near 978th Street and 619th Street, River Falls, in Oak Grove Township.
It was determined that Joshua Trebil, 43, from Ellsworth, was operating a 2020 Polaris UTV when he lost control. The UTV overturned and Trebil was ejected. Trebil was not wearing a safety belt.
Trebil was transported from the scene by Life Link III Helicopter to Regions Hospital in St Paul with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the River Falls Area Ambulance Service, River Falls Fire Department and Life Link Helicopter.
Bicyclist hurt in Spring Valley accdient
On Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 at about 8:16 p.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle versus bicycle accident on Newman Avenue near 2nd Street in the Village of Spring Valley.
Joel Debrozzo, 47, from Spring Valley, was reportedly operating a 2010 Buick Enclave Northbound on Newman Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a 10-yearold male juvenile on a bicycle, who suddenly entered the intersection.
The 10-year-old male juvenile, also of Spring Valley, was transported by Spring Valley Area Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Menomonie, WI with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Spring Valley Area Ambulance and Spring Valley Fire Department.
