Named one of the Best Midwestern Colleges for 2023
RIVER FALLS Falcon pride is strong following the release of The Princeton Review’s Best Midwestern Colleges for 2023.
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls was once again named among the schools considered to be “academically outstanding and well worth consideration in a college search.” The list is compiled using data from surveys of administrators from several hundred colleges in each region, information from staff visits to schools over the years and input from college counselors and advisers.
“This news from The Princeton Review is exciting and timely as we prepare to welcome students back for fall semester,” said UW-River Falls Chancellor Maria Gallo. “We are proud to provide an exceptional education in an inclusive environment at an affordable price. UWRF is an amazing value.”
Surveys of enrolled students are also used to determine the designation each year and Falcons were clear about why they consider UWRF to be one of the top universities.
“From the moment you set foot on campus, it is evident that the school wants to help students achieve success,” said one student. “UW-River Falls does so by offering a myriad of opportunities for internships, student teaching, studying abroad and real work experience.”
Each year, a total of 655 colleges in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West and International zones are surveyed.
