ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to kick off the 2025 Best of Awards competition. This annual event celebrates the businesses and organizations that make Ellsworth an exceptional place to live, work, and play. With this year’s theme, Ellsworth's High Rollers, the spotlight shines on the entrepreneurial spirit of our local business community and the bold bets they make every day to serve and enrich our town.

The first round of voting is open now through Jan. 29, 2025, giving the community a chance to vote for their favorite businesses across nine categories. These categories include Best New Business, Best Restaurant/Bar/Tavern, Best Tourism Destination/Attraction, Best Health & Wellness, Best Professional Service, Best Home Service, Best Retail Shopping, Best Non-profit/Civic/Religious Organization, and Best Customer Service.

The top three in each category will advance to a second round of voting, taking place Jan. 31 – Feb. 7, 2025. Winners will be celebrated at the Ellsworth Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet on Feb. 17, 2025.

“This year’s theme, ‘Ellsworth’s High Rollers,’ truly reflects the resilience and determination of our local business owners,” said Kim Beebe, Executive Director of the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce. “Sometimes it's a gamble being in business. By voting in this competition, residents have an opportunity to show their appreciation for the businesses who take a chance on success and make our community thrive.”

Community members are encouraged to vote online at www.ellsworthchamber.com/best-of-awards. This is your chance to celebrate your favorite local businesses and organizations. Everyone is encouraged to share the competition, rally friends and family, and help honor the local businesses that support our community year-round.
