ELLSWORTH –The neighborhood hardware store located at 137 E. Main St. in Ellsworth is getting a makeover. The local retail establishment has converted from True Value to Waltz Ace Hardware and is now part of a team of more than 4,850 locallyowned and independently operated Ace stores across the globe. The store conversion took place starting November 2021.

“At Waltz Ace Hardware, we strive to offer a more personal kind of helpful when assisting Ellsworth residents in finding the right products, supplies and tools to maintain their homes – our customers are our neighbors, not just a number,” said owner Casey Waltz. “Ace’s commitment to being the helpful place and its world class reputation of providing neighborly advice and assistance fits perfectly with what we’re doing here every day.”

The new Ace store now has the option to carry a complete lineup of the best products in the industry including more than 1,000 Craftsman, Dewalt, Ego and Milwaukee brand products. In addition, the store will have the opportunity to stock Ace-exclusive paint brands, including Clark+Kensington paint+primer in one and Benjamin Moore.

“Ace’s brand recognition is unmatched – and being a part of Ace means we are now able to offer our customers impactful national promotions and the brands they want, along with the personal, knowledgeable and helpful service that they have come to expect when shopping at their neighborhood Ace Hardware store,” said Waltz.
