want Law Enforcement to contact the individuals she suspected were responsible.

1:58 a.m.

A man was found lying in the parking lot of a business on 825th St. in Hager City. After making contact, a sober ride was arranged.

3:06 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 975th St. in River Falls for a possible sexual assault. A female reported hearing voices and a disturbance from a neighboring residence. Upon arrival, it did not appear as though the incident had happened. The female recanted her story.

10:17 a.m.

A caller reported an unwanted subject at an address on 770th Ave. in Spring Valley.

12:07 p.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to an address on Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth for a report of a burglary. Information and photographs were collected after a subject came into the business twice and stole money from the safe.

5:25 p.m.

A horse was reported in the roadway near the intersection of 320th St. and 890th Ave. in Spring Valley. A Deputy located a horse chained to the outside of a fence so it could graze in the ditch. The chain was long enough to allow it into the road. The owners were located, and they returned the horse to their property.

10 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.

August 21 5:28 a.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of Golf Course Ln. and N. Maple St. in Ellsworth for a defective exhaust. The driver received citations for OWL and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

9:54 a.m.

A Deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle near the intersection of 610th St. and 690th Ave. The driver fled for a period of time and eventually pulled over. The motorcycle was impounded due to the VIN being tampered with and unable to get it back. The driver was cited for Eluding an Officer, Operating a Motorcycle w/o an Endorsement and Speeding. 3:56 p.m.

A driving complaint was received of a vehicle all over the road that went into the ditch near the intersection of Cty. Tk. J and Hwy. 65 in Beldenville. The vehicle was not located.

5:32 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on Hwy. 29 in River Falls for a lightning strike.

8:56 p.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to an address on Market St. in Bay City for a vehicle that was driving on the beach and was stuck. The vehicle, described as a black station wagon with California plates, was gone prior to their arrival. The complainant did not wish for any further Law Enforcement action.

10:41 p.m.

A female in a parking lot on Hwy. 10 in Maiden Rock was checked on. While out with the subject, dispatch received a report that the female was possibly involved in a drug deal. The female was warned for open intoxicants.

August 22 1:16 a.m.

A Deputy was flagged down by a group of people in the 100 block of N. Main St. in River Falls. There was a minor disturbance between a few patrons and bar staff. Neither party wanted to take any law enforcement action. The group left the bar without further issues.

4:39 p.m.

A two-vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of 820th Ave. and Cty. Tk. F in River Falls. There was not enough damage to the vehicles to make it a reportable accident.

5:21 p.m.

A Deputy stopped on the Hager Hill for a disabled motorcycle. The odor of THC was detected. The subject admitted to smoking THC prior to the Deputy’s arrival. Nothing was found upon searching. The subject pushed the bike to 63

Express. 6:22 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 978th St. in

Ellsworth for a male subject that rolled his UTV and was pinned underneath. The subject was removed and transported by air to MN. See DNR crash report.

6:30 p.m.

A male in the 300 block of Court Rd. in Plum City reported someone keyed his vehicle’s door. Information was collected.

7:43 p.m.

An agitated male was observed walking on the side of the highway near the intersection of 900th St. and Hwy. 29 in River Falls. Contact was made with the male, female, and their disabled car. The subjects advised they had been arguing over how long AAA service was taking to bring them gas. A courtesy ride was provided to the female so she could purchase fuel. After they returned, the vehicle went on its way.

9:36 p.m.

A Deputy was requested to respond to an address on 850th Ave. in Spring Valley for a report of a burglary. Forced entry was observed and items were taken from the residence. A resident witnessed the suspect enter the home. Statements and evidence were collected. Contact was attempted with the suspect.

August 23 3:23 a.m.

A driver was stopped on 810th St. near Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth and warned for speeding. The female was arrested for OWI – 1st Offense.

9:03 a.m.

A Deputy was dispatched to 830th St. in Hager City for a vehicle parked in the lane of traffic. Upon arrival, it was noticed the doors were unlocked and the keys were laying on the shoulder of the road. While on scene, the Deputy was advised Red Wing PD was taking a stolen vehicle report on the vehicle. Photographs were taken and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

10:10 a.m.

Deputies were requested to assist Prescott PD with a suspicious package in the roadway in the 1000 block of Campbell St. Traffic control was provided while a bomb squad evaluated the item.
