Thursday, Aug. 18 Blood Pressure Clinic, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Wellhaven Senior Living (119 Union St., River Falls). Hosted by River Falls Senior Center.
RFMU Customer Appreciation Event, 4-6 p.m., River Falls City Hall (222 Lewis St.) Enjoy brats, hot dogs, veggie dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon and ice cream treats. Take photos in a giant, life-size Instagram frame. Let the little ones jump around in the bounce house. Play a few rounds of bean bag toss and enjoy live music from the Tommy Bentz Band. Walk or bike to the event and get a free LED lightbulb at the welcome table. All RFMU customers may enter to win one of five $20 gift cards to the River Falls Farmers Market.
