Morning Book Club, 10:30 a.m., Ellsworth Public Library (312 W. Main St.) Let’s gather together to share our love of books, conversation, and community. Books available for checkout at the library. This month’s selection is “Island of Sea Women” by Lisa See.
Poolside Story Time, 2:30 p.m., Klaas-Jonas Community Pool (312 Panther Drive, Ellsworth). Join Ms. Caroline from the Ellsworth Public Library for a story time during afternoon swim breaks. Subject to change based on weather or pool-related schedule changes.
Summer Park Program,
3-4 p.m., Prescott Lions Public Square Park (across from Prescott Middle School). For ages 9-14. Each week a local organization will host an activity (or more) for kids. Connect with friends and have fun. The program is free thanks to weekly sponsors. Check the Facebook event page (Prescott Summer Park Program) for information on each week’s activities and if there are any cancellations.
St. John’s Chicken Feed,
5-7 p.m., S520 Church Ave., Spring Valley. Drive-through chicken feed with grilled chicken, salads, and all the fixings for a free-will offering.
Summer Fun Series, 4-7 p.m., East End Park, Ellsworth. Browse a variety of farm, artisan and craft vendors at the Ellsworth Farmers Market, enjoy food from local food trucks, take part in family friendly activities and listen to live music from local bands and musicians.

Saturday, July 16 Nick Rhiel & Nate Hase Memorial Golf Tournament, 8 a.m., Ellsworth Country Club (W6920 Golf Course Lane, Ellsworth). Registration starts at 8 a.m. The Nick Rhiel Memorial Foundation will be having its final golf tournament and will hand the torch to the Nate Hase Memorial Foundation.

Kids from Wisconsin, 7 p.m., Melvin Wall Amphitheatre, UW-River Falls campus (rain site: Hunt Arena). Part of the Chill on the Hill concert series. The Kids Big Bang Boom Tour will highlight the eclectic fads, explosive dance crazes and bands that have burst forth on the music scene. Grilled food, ice cream and beverage available for purchase.
