Thursday, Sept. 15 St. Croix County Library Traveling Book Club, 6 p.m. dinner, 6:30 p.m. discussion, location TBD. Each month, a different St. Croix County library hosts a book discussion at a local restaurant. This month, it’s our turn. Join us to discuss “Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead.

Outdoor Movie Night,
7:45 p.m., Ellsworth Middle School. Join the Ellsworth Elementary Parents’ Club for a movie under the stars in the baseball field north of the middle school by the concession stand. Popcorn, juice and water will be provided as we watch “The Little Rascals.”
Bingo Kickoff, 4 p.m., River Falls American Legion (701 N. Main St., River Falls). And so it begins! The jackpot begins where it left off at $4,150. Doors open at 4 p.m., games start at 7 p.m. Bring the whole family; kids are eligible to win if accompanied by an adult.
Saturday, Sept. 17 The Hase Games, 11 a.m., 102 Nelson Drive, Elmwood. Annual get together with flag football tournament, food, yard games and fun kids activities. All are welcome, bring a dish to pass.

Monday, Sept. 19 North Star Donut Food Truck, 3:30-7 p.m., Ellsworth Elementary School south lot (445 S. Piety St.) The North Star Donut Food Truck will be selling apple cider mini donuts, cider slushies and apples. A portion of each sale will go to Ellsworth Elementary Parents’ Club.

Saturday, Sept. 24 EBSA Fundraiser: Busch for Bats, 1 p.m., Clyde’s Corner (W7409 Highway 65, Beldenville). Live band, free food, meat raffle, 50/50 cash raffle, board raffle for gun, hog and cash; Texas Hold ‘em tourney. Funds raised go toward Ellsworth Baseball Softball Association field improvement projects such as playground equipment, batting cages, scoreboards, a fourth practice field and other upgrades at Browns Field Complex.
