PRESCOTT – What a gloriously beautiful October we have had! I have seen photos of the October 2000 snowfall and I am even more grateful for our current weather. I know we need the moisture but I still like this warm spell!
October activities:

Wednesday, Oct. 23: Cards day from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Play Bridge, Euchre, 500 or game of your choice.

Thursday, Oct. 24: Pickleball at 8:30 a.m. at the Intermediate School gym. At 12:30 p.m., join us for treats and beverages before our 1 p.m. speaker. Joining us is Jane White from the Pierce County ADRC (Aging Disability Resource Center). She will be covering Medicare open enrollment. All are welcome.

Tuesday, Oct. 29: Pickleball at 8:30 a.m., Prescott Intermediate school gym. Walking group meets at 9 a.m. at the Gathering Place. Mahjongg meets every Tuesday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church.
At 1 p.m. meet at the Gathering Place for “ Keeping in Touch.”

Wednesday, Oct. 30: Play cards 12:30-3:30 p.m. Play Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, Oct. 31: Pickleball is at 8:30 a.m. in the Intermediate School gym, followed by Canasta at the Gathering Place at 1 p.m.
Gathering Place is located at Prescott Middle School (1220 St. Croix St., Door 5). All seniors age 55 and older are invited. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with occasional activities in the am. Please feel free to stop in.
