The good news – Piety Street construction will not happen until 2026. All events for the Ellsworth Senior Center will be held in the lower level of English Lutheran Church, 229 W. Main St/, Ellsworth. Please park in the upper parking lot and use the door facing Piety Street. Ring the black buzzer by the doors, and we will come and open the door for you. For events, there should be someone there to open the door and greet you.

Those desiring to play pool for fun are always welcome to join the pool players on Monday and Friday afternoons from 1-4 p.m.

At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Ellsworth Senior Center (not at Zion as previously announced). Come and meet Tom Pederson, the “Creature Teacher” with a lifelong passion for reptiles and amphibians. You’ll meet frogs, lizards, turtles, snakes, and more. Curious guests (if you like) will have the opportunity to gently touch a tortoise or snake. Pederson is a retired Lake City educator with 38 years of teaching, taught at Winona State University’s College for Kids and served as a Critter Camp Instructor for 15 years. With humor, energy and deep knowledge, Pederson will keep you captivated from start to finish.

This presentation is open to the public of all ages. Following the presentation, a lunch will be served sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Ellsworth Senior Center.

Thursday, Sept. 11 Euchre from 1-3 p.m. The Euchre players welcome others to join them.

Tuesdays, Sept. 16 and Sept. 30 Katrina will provide foot care for a fee.  Call Phyllis at 715-821-5847 to schedule an appointment.
