We are still seeking a director for the Ellsworth Senior Center. If you or know of someone interested in this position or would like more information, call Phyllis at 715-821-5847.
The pool players continue to play pool on Mondays and Fridays from 1–4 p.m. in the lower level of English Lutheran Church (229 W. Main St.) and extend the invitation for others to join them. At the time of this writing, they are able to park in the English Lutheran Church parking lot. On Monday, Nov. 10, students from the high school will join them for intergenerational pool.
Tuesday, Nov. 11 the Senior Center will be closed for Veterans Day. Members of the community are invited to attend the Veterans Day Program at the Ellsworth Middle School at 9 a.m. to honor and thank those who have served in the US Armed Forces and contributed to our freedoms.
Thursday, Nov. 13 the Euchre players will meet from 1-3 p.m. at Preferred Senior Living (229 W. Wayne St. Residents from there have also joined for Euchre.
Tuesday Nov. 18, the Discovering Together Tuesday session will be held at 11 a.m. at Brush Strokes (273 N Morse St – across from the Ellsworth Creamery). We will be making cute Paint Brush Ornaments, a fun and festive craft for all ages. The program is free and open to the public. A complimentary lunch will be served courtesy of Ellsworth Senior Center and Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library.
At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Country Fit (273 N Morse St). CJ will present a wellness topic followed by some group exercises to help maintain our balance and strength.
There are a couple of appointments available for foot care during the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 25. Call Phyllis at 715-821-5847 if you’d like to schedule.
