The Ellsworth Senior Center provides a friendly safe environment where adults may engage in social, educational, and recreational activities. All events for the Ellsworth Senior Center are held in the lower level of English Lutheran Church, 229 W. Main St/, Ellsworth. Park in the upper parking lot and use the door facing Piety Street. Ring the black buzzer by the doors, and we will come and open the door for you. For events, someone should be there to open the door and greet you.
Those desiring to play pool for fun are always welcome to join the pool players on Monday and Friday afternoons from 1-4 p.m.
At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Ellsworth Senior Center (not at Zion as previously announced), come meet Tom Pederson, the Creature Teacher with a lifelong passion for reptiles and amphibians. Tom is a retired Lake City educator with 38 years of teaching experience, taught at Winona State University’s College for Kids and served as a Critter Camp Instructor for 15 years. With humor, energy and deep knowledge, Tom will keep you captivated from start to finish.
This presentation is open to the public of all ages. Following the presentation, a lunch will be served sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Ellsworth Senior Center.
