What’s new at the Pierce County Fair in 2026?

ELLSWORTH – The Pierce County Fair is excited to announce new opportunities, activities, and important information for the 2026 fair season! From updated Premium Books and creative exhibit challenges to online ticket sales and special events, there’s truly something for everyone at this year’s fair.

After 10 months of preparation, the new printed and PDF versions of the 2026–2027 Premium Book are now available. We want to thank Helmer Printing for their continued assistance in this process. Printed copies may be picked up at the following community locations:

  • Ellsworth: Pierce County Fair Office, CCF Bank, Ellsworth Public Library, Senior Center
  • Elmwood: Citizens State Bank, Elmwood Public Library
  • Hager City: Hiawatha National Bank
  • Maiden Rock: Hiawatha National Bank
  • Plum City: Pillar Bank, Plum City Library, Senior Center Prescott, BMO Harris Bank, Prescott Public Library
  • River Falls: First National Bank, River Falls Public Library, River Falls Senior Center
  • Spring Valley: Spring Valley Drug, Pillar Bank, Spring Valley Public Library
  • Durand: Durand Community Library

How to enter exhibits

Entering exhibits at the fair is easy! Review the Premium Book and decide which exhibits you would like to enter. Visit the official Fair website: https://www.co.pierce.wi.us/departments/fair/index.php) and click on either “Open Class” or “Junior Fair” to access FairEntry Online. Create your exhibitor account and follow the step-by-step instructions. Add entries, review your information, and complete checkout. At checkout, exhibitors will see:

  • Admission ticket charges
  • A one-time $3.25 processing fee

Be sure to click the “Submit” button to officially send your entries and receive your confirmation.

Livestock-only entries must be submitted by June 18, 2026. Livestock exhibitors may make changes through July 10 by calling the Fair Office at 715 273-6874. No changes can be made after July 10. Need assistance? Help appointments are available by calling 715-273-6874.

2026 Special Challenges

This year’s Recipe Challenge features decadent Raspberry White Chocolate Bars — a delicious treat sure to become a favorite!

The fair is proud to partner with the Pierce County “Shop with a Cop” program to introduce the Christmas Stocking Challenge. Participants are invited to use their creativity and sewing talents to design and create special Christmas stockings for area children. This meaningful project is designed to spread joy and brighten the holiday season for community members.

Online ticket sales

Beginning in June, online ticket sales will be available for:

  • Fair admission
  • Tractor Pull tickets

Demo Derby tickets are available through the Ellsworth Funsters at: www.ellsworthfunsters.com Purchasing tickets in advance offers the best pricing and helps visitors plan ahead for a fun-filled fair experience.

Daily admission to the fair is $8, while a season pass is $17. However, thanks to advance sale specials, season passes are $13 during July at participating local businesses and online. Online daily admission tickets are $5 through July 31. Fairgoers are encouraged to purchase early and save!

Special Events

Euchre Tournament: 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. Held in the Beer Garden with no registration required. Join us for an evening of friendly competition and fun!

Senior Discount Day: Friday, Aug. 14 admission is just $3 for guests age 62 and older. Veterans Day: Sunday, Aug. 16, veterans receive free admission. A special recognition ceremony honoring seniors, veterans, and Century Farm recipients will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by entertainment from The Memories beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Work or volunteer at the fair

The fair is seeking enthusiastic “smile makers” to help create a great experience for fairgoers. Paid and volunteer opportunities are available in ticketing, parking, building operations, Beer Garden and judge assistance.
