RIVER FALLS – Whole Earth Market Co-op is a natural, organic, and co-operatively owned grocery store located at 126 S. Main St. in River Falls. The Co-op has been fostering a healthy, thriving community and generating positive social, economic, and environmental change for 50 years. The WE Market Co-op embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. Everyone can shop and anyone can join.

The current Board of Directors is looking for diverse, engaged co-op members to join the board to share their enthusiasm, ideas, and skills to drive the WE Market Co-op forward. There are three open board positions that will be elected by the full co-op membership during the WE Market Co-op Annual Meeting on March 26, 2024 at St Bridget’s Catholic Church (211 E. Division St., River Falls, WI 54022).

Candidates must be members of the co-op, be responsive, attend monthly meetings, engage in board committees, uphold the cooperative principles, and support the co-op through community engagement. As the co-op continues to grow and look to the future individuals with a background in finance, fundraising, capital campaigns, and marketing/education are strongly encouraged. Board members serve for three-year terms and are elected on a rolling basis.
