The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting to welcome Wild Arrows Boutique to the community. Wild Arrows is located at 355 W. Main St. The Journal caught up with Wild Arrows owner Janelle Lacy to learn about this exciting venture!

How long have you been in the fashion/boutique business? 6 years How did you get into the fashion/boutique business? I was in direct sales fashion from 2014-2018. During that time, I was a consultant for two different companies and quickly fell in love with the fashion world. I worked full-time out of the home, and I spent many of my evenings and weekends doing pop-up parties at women's homes and at local vendor events. In December of 2018, I took a leap of faith and started my own, independent boutique. I was able to quit my full-time job in July of 2019 and continued to run my online boutique out of our home. I quickly outgrew our basement and needed a bigger space for my business, and that led me to signing the lease on the storefront in the spring of_2020._

How has the community accepted your new business? The community has been amazing! I have had an overwhelming amount of support from my local customers throughout the last 6 years, and the love and support that I have continued to see since opening the storefront has been so great! It has also been so fun to meet so many more members of the community and share my love of fashion with everyone!_

Why did you want to start the business in Ellsworth? I was born and raised in Ellsworth and my husband and I are now raising our boys here. I wouldn't have wanted to start this journey anywhere else._

How has the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce helped since you started? The chamber has welcomed me with open arms, and I am so grateful for their support and guidance._
