The Wildcats swept the titles at its River Falls Invitational track meet on Friday afternoon.
The girls’ team ran away with the title with 106.25 team points. They were followed by Eau Claire Memorial at 78, Chippewa Falls 45.75 and Eau Claire North 22.
The boys team finished at the top with 89 points, followed by Eau Claire Memorial 64.5, Chippewa Falls 54.5 and Eau Claire North 36.
Wildcat girls’ team
The Wildcats girls’ team won first place in nine of the 17 events and took the top two spots in multiple events. Here’s a look at how River Falls athletes finished.
100 Meter Dash – Rebecca Randleman was first in 13:40. Elise Frisbie took third in 13.61, while Brooklyn Silloway took fourth in 13.63 and Kyla Kubera was fifth in 13.72.
400 Meter Dash – Abby Esterby won in 1:05.49, followed by Daphnie Waiter in second in 1:06.72.
800-Meter Run – Morgan Prigge was second in 2:37.76.
1,600-Meter Run – Lilly Jensen won in 5:40.46, followed by teammate Allison Weissinger in second in 5:41.41.
3,200-Meter Run – Allen Jayne took fifth for the Wildcats in 13:22.30.
100-Meter Hurdles – Erin Syverson was third in 18:53, and Brianna Strehlau was fourth in 19.99.
300-Meter Hurdles – Ambrea Kjos won the event in 49.62, and Syverson was third in 53.48.
400-Meter Relay – The River Falls team of Allie Hamburg, Madeline Doerre, Josie Johnson and Zoe Wise took first in 53.45.
800-Meter Relay – The River Falls team of Kubera, Abi Banitt, Rebecca Randleman and Silloway took first in 1:49.34.
1,600-Meter Relay – The Wildcat combination of Jensen, Wiatt, Weissinger and Banitt won in 4:20.88.
High Jump – The Wildcats dominated, taking the top three spots. Haley Graetz and Doerre both had jumps of 8-08, while Ava Noreen was third at 4-04.
Pole Vault – Anika Holland was second at 7- 03. Claire Stewart and Kayleigh Volkman tied for fourth at 6-03.
Long Jump – Josephine Johnson took 11th at 13-09.25.
Discus – Isabel Pupungatoa won with a throw of 105-06. Brinley Kugel was third at 84-00.
Wildcat boys’ team 100-Meter Dash – Alex Myszewski was second in 11.74, while Samuel Rixmann was fourth at 12.00 and Alexander Fosler was fifth at 12.08.
200-Meter Dash – Jocot Otte was third at 24.13, with Nathan Wick just behind him at 24.14.
400-Meter Dash – The event was owned by River Falls, as they swept the top three spots. Zackary Nye won in 53.00, with Isaac Cards second in 53.53, and Robert Anderson third in 54.48.
800-Meter Run – The Wildcats had a onetwo punch, with Grant Magnuson in first in 2:00.30, and Joshua Linton second in 2:07.99.
1,600-Meter Run – Samuel Shaw had the top Wildcat finish, taking sixth.
3,200-Meter Run – Dustin Sheely took second in 10:32.40.
110-Meter Hurdles – John First took second in 19.91.
River Falls won the 800 and 1,600-Meter Relays.
High Jump – Jordan Karras was second in 506.00, and Ryan Brigs took fifth in 5-02.00.
Pole Vault – Micah Majors won with a vault of 9-09.00. Wyatt Bell was third at 8-09.00, and Logan Cook took fifth at 8-03.00.
Long Jump – Alex Myszewski won with a leap of 19-06.00, with Nathan Wick fifth at 1709.00.
Triple Jump – Alex Myszewski won with jumps totaling 43-00.00. Jacob Ginn was fourth at 36-01.50, and Roman Klink was fifth at 3306.00.
Shot Put – Cade Myszewski was fourth with a throw of 38-11.50, with Tanner Zepczyk fifth at 37-05.00.
Discus – The top River Falls throw was Maverick Kaminski, sixth at 99-10.
River Falls competes in an invitational Friday, May 21 at Hudson High School.
