The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is holding a virtual public involvement meeting to obtain input on an improvement project proposed for the US 10/County E intersection in the Pierce County town of Oak Grove.

The intersection has a documented crash history, and there are issues with sight distance on the US 10 approach to the County E intersection from the east. To address these, WisDOT is proposing to reconstruct a segment of US 10 to the east of the County E intersection to lower the vertical curve of the road to improve sight distance.
Construction is scheduled for 2025. During construction, US 10 will be closed to traffic and detoured. Currently, the proposed detour follows WIS 29/35 and WIS 65.
