River Falls

River Falls had six wrestlers earn first team all-conference honors this season.

Included in the six are four first team qualifiers. They are freshman Oliver Larson with an overall record of 36-17 in the 113-pound weight class, junior Jonas Longsdorf with a record of 39-14  in the 132-pound class, junior Lincoln McCarty with a record of 37-9 at 215 pounds and senior Jenna Lawrence who finished with a 23-7 record in the 120-pound class.

Additionally, junior Vinny Costabilo earned second team all-conference honors with a record of 37-12 at 144 pounds, and freshman Waylon Deaton earned an honorable mention for his efforts with a record of 34-15 in the 120-pound class.

Not only is this great to see, but for the program, it’s even better as all but one of these top athletes (Lawrence) will return for another great season for the Wildcats wrestling team.

Prescott

The Prescott Cardinals wrestling team had just one athlete earn all-conference honors this season, and that was senior Nolan Thomley.

Thomley has been successful throughout his career at Prescott and finishes his final season with the team earning first team honors with an overall record of 44-9 in the 150-pound class. According to Head Coach Ian Ruble, that win total is among the highest season totals in program history.

Ellsworth

The Ellsworth Panthers had four wrestlers earn all-conference honors this season.

The Panthers had two seniors on the first team list, including William Penn with an overall record of 49-4 in the 138-pound weight class and Carson Wright with a record of 36-15 in the 113-pound weight class.

Junior Austin Peterson earned second team honors in the 109-pound weight class with an overall record of 37-12 and senior Ethan Veenendall received an honorable mention in the 190-pound weight class with a record of 30-15.

Congratulations to all the wrestlers on their accomplishments!
