Yellowstone Trail Heritage Day is an annual celebration of the historic Yellowstone Trail which was the first coast-to-coast automobile route across the Northern United States. Hudson, in St. Croix County, is the first stop when entering Wisconsin from the west on the Trail.
At the Yellowstone Trail Heritage Day celebration on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, car enthusiasts can take in three different car shows from 9 a.m. to noon. Come see a vintage and classic car show at Lakefront Park, a Britfest Car Show coordinated by the Minnesota MG Group and an antique auto show by the Twin Cities Model A Ford Club.
Some of the other Saturday activities include geocaching, a dance demonstration, history displays throughout the county, Yellowstone Trail history speaker, plus the Yellowstone Trail Poker Run and Sociability Drive thru St. Croix County with stops in Hudson, Roberts, Hammond, Baldwin and Woodville.
